Our client is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join their team.
This role is responsible for undertaking physical work to deliver the maintenance and/or housekeeping items on time and within an agreed budget.
You will ensure that service delivery demonstrates the company’s commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and customer service while meeting key performance indicators, in accordance with the company vision and mission statements.
Some key tasks include:
- Delivery of maintenance and/or housekeeping items in a timely manner.
- Support the Assets and Maintenance Team.
- Supervision of contractors.
- VAMS - Recording of all work undertaken and sign off of work schedules / ad-hoc work
- Comply with all of the companies Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Environmental Policy Statements.
- Contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high quality drinking water and wastewater services that consistently meets or exceed the requirements of the company's contracts.
- Participate in emergency maintenance tasks as part of an afterhours roster.
- Troubleshooting.
To be successful in the role, you must have the following:
- Knowledge of wastewater operations and maintenance activities.
- Welding experience and previous experience working with heavy machinery.
- Experience with the use of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and control systems (desirable).
- Ability to organise resources, establish priorities and meet deadlines through balancing commitments and priorities.
- Flexibility and an ability to handle stress and pressure with strong communication, people management, teamwork and coaching skills.
- Motivation and enthusiasm, a keen eye for detail and a desire for excellent customer service.
- Full and clean driver's licence.
- IT skills.
- Ability and willingness to work out of hours.
