Group Operations Manager

The Experience Collective Ltd is seeking an exceptional Group Operations Manager to join our award-winning, family-owned hospitality and tourism business. Based at our Greytown head office, you’ll help shape the future of three iconic NZ venues:

*The White Swan Hotel (Greytown) *Tui Brewery HQ (Mangatainoka) *Monteith’s Brewing Experience (Greymouth)

About the Role Lead the daily operations and strategy of our $8m+ business, overseeing a team of 80–100 people and reporting directly to the Director/Owner. You’ll collaborate with a passionate, hands-on team delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

This full-time role is based in Greytown, with some flexibility in working arrangements.

About You

Experience & Skills *Proven senior operational leadership experience, ideally with multi-site or large-team responsibility *Skilled people leader who develops and inspires diverse teams and has an in-depth understanding of Human Resource Management *Strategic thinker with a hands-on, practical approach *Confident with technology and business systems (we use Loaded, IdealPOS, Xero, Smartly, Jolt, Nowbookit, Preno, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, SmartFood Pro, Squarespace, plus custom tools) *Strong financial and commercial acumen to drive performance and profitability *Hospitality and/or tourism industry background preferred but not essential *Willingness to travel a few times a year for work
