Description
About the Role: We are on the lookout for motivated, switched-on, safety focused Production Operators to join our team at our plant in Hillsborough, Christchurch. The role is varied and busy, and responsibilities will include;
- Plant operation within plastermills and board manufacturing crews
- Process control, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Replenishing lines and operating machines as required to ensure continuous production
- Quality assurance and reporting issues or faults
- General manufacturing duties Skills & Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment using automated material handling equipment is advantageous, as well as:
- Forklift license and current NZ drivers license
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written English skills, as well as good numeric skills
- Physically fit with the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and product (up to 25kg)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol test
- Current working rights in NZ
- Able to work a 24/5 roster on 12-hour shifts.
