We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Cleaner to join our client’s sanitation team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining food processing equipment to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle, clean, and reassemble production machinery safely
- Use approved cleaning agents and equipment, pressure washers, etc.)
- Ensure all machinery and surfaces meet food safety & hygiene standards
- Accurately complete cleaning logs and documentation
- Follow all company safety and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with QA and maintenance teams as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or industrial cleaning preferred
- Understanding of sanitation best practices
- Physically fit – ability to lift to 50 lbs, stand for long periods
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Flexibility to work night/weekend shifts as needed
To be considered for this role, you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand (evidence required), pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and numeracy test.
