Job Description About the role

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and team performance. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, supporting staff, and upholding our environmental and operational standards.

• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality
• Lead and support your team, fostering a respectful and collaborative culture
• Deliver hands-on training for machinery use and forklift safety
• Monitor equipment, manage material/job changes, and report maintenance issues
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and promote continuous improvement
• Support sustainability initiatives aligned with WM Porohita - Circular Economy goals
• Maintain accurate production records and oversee correct packaging and labelling
• Uphold company values in all tasks and perform other duties as required

The timing for this role will be 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications About you:

• Moderate experience in a supervisory or team leader role
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and experience in a production environment
• Competence in operating heavy machinery and forklifts
• Knowledge of HSEQ legislation and systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
• Current forklift and driver’s licences
