Are you excited about creating unforgettable experiences and making every customer feel welcomed and delighted? Toot Sweet's is searching for a dedicated Retail Supervisor to lead our vibrant candy store in Invercargill.

Toot Sweets is a vibrant and bustling candy store dedicated to bringing joy and sweetness to our customers' lives. We offer a wide variety of candies, chocolates, and confectionery delights, creating an enchanting experience for candy lovers of all ages.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail Supervisor. As the Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

As Retail Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the candy store, including opening and closing procedures.
• Take charge of inventory management by placing orders, receiving shipments, and maintaining stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their enquiries, helping them find their favourite treats, and offering recommendations.
• Train and supervise new staff members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about our products and equipped with excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain a clean and organised store environment, including displays and shelves.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing registers.
• Manage all bookings for party rooms and enquiries.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner to management.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Passion for candy and confectionery products is a plus!

Hours are 9am -1.30pm Tuesday - Saturday.
