Description
New World Feilding is looking for a, friendly, reliable person to join our Checkout Team.
You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at New World.
Your main duties will include:
- Operating a Checkout
- Lotto
- Packing groceries
- Supervising the Self Checkouts
- Cleaning
- Helping customers
- Assisting in the grocery team
- Assist with all other duties that form part of supermarket operation
- Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times
Here's what you'll need:
- To be physically fit – you'll be on your feet all day, and moving
- Fast on your feet, your days will be busy serving customers quickly and accurately
- Customer service driven – you'll spend a lot of time helping our customers
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be honest, you will be processing customer transactions
- Be reliable, we are a close team and you'll be missed if you're not here!
- Have a good work ethic
- Be able to work well under pressure
All our team members work a weekend day – your days of work will be Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday starting at 7am. Approx 28-30hours per week.
