ABOUT THE ROLE As a Team Leader in our Contact Centre, you will be responsible for managing and inspiring a team of high performing telefundraisers. Your primary goal is to ensure the successful delivery of our Telefundraising programme by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to calling and fundraising. You will play a pivotal role in leading a capable and motivated team, ensuring that all calls are carried out efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with the values and mission of Greenpeace.

You will work closely with two other Team Leaders, a Performance Coach, and the Telefundraising Manager to support day to day operations, deliver effective coaching and training, and uphold a high standard of performance across the team. This role requires a driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-based contact centre environment and can effectively guide, support, and develop their team to consistently achieve targets.

Key responsibilities include: *Lead and inspire your team to consistently meet daily and weekly targets *Conduct regular 1:1s to review performance and offer support *Monitor calls and performance data to drive improvements *Provide regular coaching and training to build skills and confidence *Run team meetings to share updates, celebrate success, and reinforce best practice *Manage performance through clear goal setting, feedback, and development plans *Stay on top of admin tasks related to team management

ABOUT YOU You have proven experience leading high-performing teams in a contact centre environment - whether in fundraising, customer service, inbound or outbound sales. You are target-driven, motivated, and passionate about helping individuals reach their potential through coaching and support. You set a positive example for your team, bringing energy and commitment to your work.  You lead by example, energise your team, and know how to bring the best out of people. Your leadership fosters a culture of performance, positivity, and professionalism.

Our campaigns focus on urgent environmental issues such as climate action, ocean protection, and reducing single-use plastics. You'll lead your team to achieve goals and drive change, one conversation at a time

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE *1+ year of contact centre leadership – managing and coaching teams of 5+ in a fast-paced environment *2+ years frontline contact centre experience – hitting KPIs and thriving under pressure *Strong coaching skills – driving performance through feedback, support and development *Training experience – running sessions to build skills and improve results *Effective performance management – handle underperformance by setting clear expectations and implementing strategies that lift performance *Bonus: Recruitment experience – interviewing or onboarding is desirable *Adaptability to new systems  – you pick up new systems and tools quickly *Passionate about protecting the environment, and creating a sustainable future.

Our salaries are competitive with the not-for-profit sector and the range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. This is a full time permanent position based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
