The Job We are looking for qualified carpenters to join our growing team. Carpenters are responsible for the full range of carpentry duties and may include but are not limited to: excavation, set-out, concrete, carpentry, roofing, plasterboard fixing, precast panel work and all aspects of residential carpentry. We offer the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and to be a valued member of a supportive team. Skills Required
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Hands-on working experience in working with carpentry materials
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Health & safety conscious
- Able to work outdoors at heights, and physically fit (lifting up to 20kgs)
- Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
- A valid driver's licence would be an advantage.
