PCK are known for creative thinking and a customer focused approach. Our core work is creating mid to high end kitchens for private customers, interior designers, architects and builders. Along with kitchens we also pride ourselves on creating bespoke pieces for residential, commercial & retail customers.
We're currently looking for an experienced CNC / Edgebander Operator to join our great team in Omokoroa.
You will be responsible for machining jobs to our production schedule so time management and the ability to work unsupervised is essential. We do have weekly output requirements so these need to be meet. You will also be responsible for unloading board material from trucks, loading onto and off the CNC ready to edgeband so you will need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required from time to time. Quality control and maintenance of the machinery is an important part of the role so previous machine or industry experience is required.
This is a full time position working Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm however the start and finish times are flexible for the right candidate. We also offer overtime rates, on site parking and morning tea is provided.
About you:
- Previous experience operating a CNC in a joinery workshop
- Machine minded
- Hold a forklift licence
- Good sense of humour and able to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong problem solving ability
- Fluent and clear communication skills
- Current NZ drivers licence
