Are you a foodie with a real passion for your craft? We're looking for a full-time Bakery Assistant/Apprentice to join our team here at Greenmeadows New World and master the craft of baking in a retail environment from the ground up - no experience required, just the right attitude, commitment, and willingness to roll up your sleeves!
We are looking for the right candidate with a positive, can-do attitude with a keen interest in baking and food production. The successful applicant will be someone who is creative, with a keen eye for detail. Reliability and strong work ethic are essential, with early-morning starts and relevant unit standards, workshops and book work needing to be completed in a timely manner.

This is a permanent, full-time position, totaling 40 hours Tuesday to Saturday - 4.00am - 12.30pm.
We are committed to developing the right candidate, commencing an NZ Certificate in Trade Bakery Level 4 in the early 2026 intake, given the proven reliability, passion and commitment of the individual.
