My client is seeking an experienced, qualified Sheetmetal Worker to join their team in Wellington, where they manufacture high-quality ducting and custom sheetmetal products for the greater Wellington area.
Preference will be given to either National Certificate in Light Engineering, Or another relevant engineering trade but with recent experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication.
You must be able to offer the following:
- Confidence with Light Fabrication;
- Take pride in your work;
- Keen to work overtime when required;
- Being a motivated person, who is honest and enjoys a challenge;
- Good communication skills;
- Can demonstrate competence and maintain high quality workmanship;
- High level of physical fitness required as this is a busy role.
If you have experience with aluminium, stainless and mild steel, with TIG, MIG/MAG and electrode welding we would like to hear from you!
Please note: To be considered for these roles, an interview will take place, and references will be checked. If successful, you’ll need to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug/alcohol screening.
