About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Hiab Driver to join a team delivering a key project in the Wellington region over the next 2 years. You will be responsible for delivering materials and operating Hiab truck-mounted crane, loading/unloading, and safe operation of lifting equipment while maintaining high levels of customer service. There may be requirement to labour and help out in the workshop or on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Hiab truck and crane to load, transport, and deliver materials to sites across the region
- Follow delivery schedules while maintaining safe driving practices
- Liaise with site managers to ensure efficient and safe deliveries
- Adhere to all health & safety and company compliance requirements
Requirements
- Class 2 or 4 NZ driver's licence (with clean driving record).
- Hiab/Truck Loader Crane certification (or Dogman / Rigging ticket)
- Previous experience operating Hiab or similar truck-mounted cranes
- Strong commitment to health & safety and compliance
- Physically fit with the ability to assist with manual handling if required
- Forklift ticket is a benefit
