Description
On Demand Recruitment is seeking Class 4 truck driver for a Tipper role with our client, delivering Salt Ice.
Candidate must be able to be available when needed- ideally in the long term (so a driver looking for Semi-Full time work would be ideal. Casual 1-5 days per week, for odd weeks, and some for multiple weeks at a time). Work will start off only on Class 2, once trained and proven then can move onto Class 4.
Requirements
- MUST have a Full Class 2 and 4 NZ licence
- Tipper experience is IDEAL but not necessary
- Reliable (shows up to work when needed – 100% of the time) and Respectful
- Timely for deliveries (fishermen and vessels rely on these shipments of Salt Ice, a delay in the delivery, means they must delay their departure for the seas)
- Full training will be given (hence no tipper experience needed)
- MUST be Fit, Proactive and of course, Safety Conscious
- The successful person will be required to pass a drug test and clear MOJ criminal check
