We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Truck Driver to join our client based in Hastings. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established company offering ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a concrete truck to deliver and discharge concrete to various sites
- Conduct pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition
- Follow all road safety regulations and site protocols
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of concrete to multiple job sites
- Operate chutes and controls safely to discharge concrete
- Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of the truck as needed
- Complete basic paperwork or digital delivery dockets
What you'll need:
- A valid Class 4 New Zealand Driver’s License
- WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement
- Good understanding of road safety and site protocols
- Previous experience operating a concrete truck
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physically fit and safety-focused
- Eligible to work in New Zealand (no sponsorship provided)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and conviction check
