Are you an experienced Bitumen Driver based in or near Napier? Join our client and be part of key upcoming road construction projects in the region!
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely transport bitumen to various construction sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip, end-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance
- Operate bitumen trucks and associated equipment in accordance with company and safety standards
- Monitor load quality and quantity to prevent contamination or spillage
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams to plan deliveries and meet project timelines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle checklists, and related documentation
- Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly to management
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Job Details:
- Location: Napier
- Competitive pay rate, dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday, day shift hours
- Full-time hours
- Temporary to permanent opportunities
- Work on exciting upcoming infrastructure projects
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license with WTR endorsement
- Proven experience driving bitumen trucks.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and conviction check
