Suzuki GT185 1973

GT185 two stroke twin custom Café Racer.

BRAND NEW WOF, Rego is cheap (only around $100 a year! as is over 40 years old)

Receives a lot of attention when being ridden; stares, photos, random people striking up conversations.

Photos do it no justice. The full metal flake paint looks like a galaxy.

1973 'K' model, only year to have factory front twin leading drum brake. Electric and kick start, starts first time.

Run on full synthetic racing 2T. Original lube system works (no need to premix.)

As seen at Wellington Distinguished Gentlemans Ride 2015 and at Solid Rockers Bike Show in Pram 13th March 2016.

Although capable of traveling open road speeds it is not suited as such. I rode it from Palm Nth to Paraparaumu for Solid Rockers and it did the trip without issue.

Could do with a new front tyre tube as when I had the front wheel retensioned I was told it has a few patches in close proximity (though no leaks.) I got wheel retensioned at Hamco Industries because it has a 'lob' around 50km/h. They got it as true as possible. Patches on tube could be effecting it as well but I put up with it.

Selling as too small for me, I want to do more open road and its not suitable. I already have a Kawasaki KZ650 close to being finished :)
