High Stonewalls

This set is suitable for 15mm war games such as Flames of War or Team Yankee.

Walls like these can be found in cities and towns throughout much of Italy, Europe and England. These walls work well for adding a private garden to a town house, surrounding a factory or protecting a orchard from the neighborhood children. The walls are highly detailed featuring split stone texture, slate/tile capping and detailed concrete/stone posts. The set includes two short, single sections, two long straight sections, a short right angle and a longer right angle section (click here to view the entire set). The walls are cast in hydrocal, a high strength casting compound. While being strong, hydrocal is also easy to work with. Battle damage can be added using a craft knife or file.

The highly textured surfaces respond well to dry brushing, inking and highlighting techniques. Unlike resin buildings, no special priming is required, the set can simply and easily be painted with any acrylic craft or student art paint. We do not recommend using enamel spray paint to base coat these models as acrylic paints adhere better to the hydrocal.
