A real neat and quite retro, going on toward antique, original painting ( I think it is a mixture perhaps of watercolour & acrylic, so am calling it a watercolour) of a river scene with path & forest, and dated 1/9/29, as per photo. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc and make things look brighter & better than they really are)

Have reduced price heaps to what you now see as we need the room, so it needs to find a new home to be loved in.

It is signed in bottom RH corner CS Bearman, or perhaps CS Burman ?? The artwork itself looks quite good, odd little marks or spots etc, but iy is, to me, very good for it's age. It is glassed. Frame is ok for an old retro thing, reasonably light, has a lot of marks, scrapes & wear from time, chips etc, but basically fine. (livable, or sand back & repaint etc) Frame measures approx. 535mm x 430mm odd.mm What you can see of the actual painting is approx. 350mm x 245mm. A good collectable genuine piece of art work & could look good at your place.

Measurements are given, so please use them to compare to something else you own to give you a better idea of size. There's a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state & condition etc, and to help you decide its value & suitability to your use, whatever that may be. So PLEASE, use those photos to help you see & gauge its faults, condition and other things you may want to know. And if not sure, ask a question !!!!
