Suzuki WRECKED FXR150 2001

this bike was written off 18 months ago and has sat in the carport under a tarp ever since.

very popular bucket racer. all this needs to get trackworthy is new forks and maybe a front wheel/brake disc - basically a new front end. to get roadworthy it is cheaper to buy a non-crashed one - thus written off

would make a good bitser, and prime for wrecking, estimated over a grand of parts there

I am selling now to get some cash to fix another two bikes in the shed and make some more room. for this reason i will not pull it to pieces as that would only make things worse... however, if you txt me, i can forward your number to the winner and they can contact you if they plan on wrecking the bike

THE GOOD: engine was mint before accident, but never tried to run it since. needs battery plus oil change and she should run, i don't see why she wouldn't. all electrics except for battery there - even has a spare key. the tank has a few paint chips, but no dents. frame, swingarm, rear wheel and supspension all good. rear fairings, rear lights and seat still mint. tyres were new, may have perished, but they look ok.

THE BAD: subframe may be a bit bent cowling scratched and has a crack front fairings all broken, could be repaired but it wouldn't be pretty. headlight ok except a clip has broken off front wheel and front disc are probably bent muffler cover scratched. front forks are absolutely buggered. missing pillion pegs.

THE UGLY: never got a cent from the driver responsible and never will, despite 3 successful visits to small claims and police charges against the other driver which she did have to pay, but still able to legally leave me out of pocket - some justice system eh? moral of the story: always have full insurance - i only had 3rd party, driver didn't even have a licence.
