Very Nice Bore & in Original untouched condition barring one small swivel stud hole in underside of buttstock. (none in fore end)

The Savage Model 1920 was reputed to be the Very First True "Mountain Rifle" and Very First caliber (now known as 250 Savage) to have attained a velocity of 3000fps in a commercial rifle. Very low numbers were produced.

One great rifle to hunt with or collect (extremely scarce and very sought after overseas)..the 2500-3000 has been my very favorite cartridge for deer, etc. due to its extreme accuracy and mild recoil. Gunwriters said "they have never seen a 6mm (243), or 257 Roberts out perform the 250 Savage".
