A very efficient and high power option for PA and party applications, or for installing during house construction for built-in subwoofer home theatre.

Features : 18" 250W RMS Richard Allen driver and cabinet design is an original NZ design by Axent audio of New Lynn, Auckland. The folded W design sites the driver facing backwards and sound folds around a slowly widening aperture before emerging in front.

I am not sure of the efficiency, but would estimate at 96 to 104 dB / 1W / 1m - you can get useful loud results from just one watt !

10W gives a very loud output, so this speaker really suits party, BBQ and high power sound reinforcement uses.

The cabinet is unfinished in particle board with some black spray paint at the back marking where handles may be added - by removing the top corner and adding a bevelled panel containing the handles, or handles fitted externally to make transport a little easier - I have not done this in 28 years of use, but have added for convenience, 1" plastic feet and heavy duty castors.

This is a large item, local pickup preferred, but delivery by trailer or van is possible by negotiation for an extra charge
