Description
Jupiter-9 85mm f/2.0 (Carl Zeiss Sonnar copy) M39 screw mount. Fits FED, Zorki, Leica, Bessa, Contax and other rangefinder cameras with same lens mount and with same optical registration.
ITEM'S CONDITION: VERY GOOD The glass is mostly clean, with no serious scratches or fungus, but some marks are presented at the front optical element, Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is enough smooth too... even most of Jupiter-9 lenses has slightly tight focusing. Oil signs at aperture leafs are presented, but it is usual feature of some of the Russian lenses.
- Focus 85 mm.
- Angle of view 28 degrees.
- Aperture 1:2.0.
- Iris aperture consist off 15 elements and provides fine aperture shape.
- Coated optics, but without Russian red symbol "n" (this symbol was removed since 1960, when all Russian optics became coated).
- Mounting: M39 LTM (Leica Thread Mount).
- Resolution (pairs of lines per 1 mm): not less than 37 in the center and 19 on the edge of frame.
- Focusing from 1.15m.
- Filter mount M 49 x 0.75 mm.
- The lens #7200548 was made in 1972. MADE in USSR

NOTE: Reason for selling - Have bought this lens on Ebay for $90 US including shipping, but it doesn't work with my Pentax K20D DSLR. (It works like MACRO e.g. focusing only withing 20-50cm)
Comes with front lens cap and plastic box (top cap of the box is cracked and fixed with a tape)
