due to a move to university i am selling my pride and joy a 1992 bmw 750iL. this was the absolutly top of the range car in 1992 costing over $275000. boasting a 5 litre v12 with over 300hp full leather interior all four seats are fully motorised and heated. great stereo made of only the best components available with a high end head unit 10 channel amp 10 speakers and a 10 cd changer (changer is missing cd cartridge but it is easily replacible) high tech on board computer calculates everything from average speed and fuel consumption to expected time of arrival to your destination all information projected on dash board lcd screen gearbox in great condition no slip or hard changes , has selectable modes or sport economy and snow and ice. also has traction and stability control. just completed all major maintanence full oil and filter change new air filters coolng system flush and new coolent new high end xenon headlight bulbs all filters and fluids are top of the line items with no expense spared. catalytic converters have been professionally removed due to being blocked performance and fuel efficiancy were greatly improved
around town fuel usage normally averages 7 km per litre and open road 9 km per litre
body is really nice with no rust at all and only two very small dents
only bad points on the car headliner is starting to sag in the rear missing factory alarm remote (can buy new from bmw for around $150 or a used one can be easily tuned to this vehicle but i have been running it without one for months) and the paint is lifting in one small area on the left hand mirrror the last owner advised me that a previous owner had changed the sppedo cluster this decreased the milage by approx 50k car is currently in mount maunganui after weekend it will be in hamilton viewing can be organised at either location would make the ultimate vip or show car as it has an enourmous boot area perfect for a large audio install or just leave it stock for a sleeper / cruiser
