1972 BMW 3.0 CSL aluminium bootlid

Originally from a red front end write-off lightweight coupe, now painted Ceylon gold. Originally bought circa 1980 in England to replace the out of shape bootlid on my CSL, it was never fitted for fear of suffering the same fate! When I sold the car and came to New Zealand in 1994 the lid finished up in the container by mistake. It has been in storage in its wrapping since then. About time it went now.

Still in very good condition. The paint is chipped around some edges and there is a small blister in the middle of the panel. Nothing that a good panel beater couldn't address.
