Fiat 125 1971
$250.00
Description
Once owned by a famous naked guy in Palmy, this fabulous Fiat is being offered for sale as a rolling chassis only.
There is no engine, no transmission, no front or rear windscreens and no bonnet. However it does have the 'tombstone' seats and the 13" X 6" Ward mags as used on the B&H Fiat 125T homologation specials. There is a spare set of headlights, the original driveshaft and a few other random spares and trim pieces in the boot. These go with the car.
Rust? It's a '70s Italian sedan so of course it's got rust. The car has been out in the elements for some years so the old tin worm has 'added character' to it's stylish flanks.
Is it worth restoring? Probably not but it would be a great basis for a 125T replica race car; double wishbone front suspension, leaf sprung live rear axle with upper trailing arms and 4-wheel disc brakes. No wonder they went so well!
