Description
Sprint steering Damper. Sprint are a specialist company in the UK that have specialized in making steering dampers for about 30 years. they make a quality product that a number of reviews have compared to Ohlins.
The damper comes as pictured, with the mounting brackets. The brackets it comes with are designed to top mount on an earlier model R1, one bracket has "R1" engraved in it, it can also be easily fitted to most other models.
It does have a slight leak, and it will require a couple new seals. You can, I understand get a 'rebuild kit' for them quite cheap. I do not have the time or money to do it myself, as a recent accident means I need the cash to do other repairs to my bike.
