Once an ECU Chip has been fitted the Hyundai drives quite differently, Bucket loads more torque, smooth power and acceleration. The difference is great. The turbo lag at the bottom is much reduced and the pick up is much increased. There will be a fuel saving of about 1.5L per 100Ks as well

Factory boost and fuel pressure is set low to allow for extreme heat, cold (-30 in some parts of Japan) and altitude in extreme climates. In NZ we dont have that. The factory ECU will retard power if pressures reach factory preset limits.
