Jeep Cherokee Sport 1996

They say that nothing stays the same and you have to move on in life............and so it is that I find myself selling what was once my favourite toy.

It’s a 1996 Cherokee Sport that has had a few modifications for offroad use. They are as follow.

• Fat Bobs Garage 3inch Lift Kit (Spacers and Shackle drop)
• Set of 15"x8" Steels with 33x13.5 PitBull Rockers......Near new and a great tyre!!!!
• Trimmed Guards with custom made flares. Rear 1/4 removed and bumpers trimmed.
• 9500lbs Winch with incab controls.
• Snorkel
• Rear decked out with hidden spare wheel.
• Twin electric fans, controlled by adjustable temperature pot.
• Bighorn Bonnet scoop......great for keeping the heat down in the engine bay.
• All recovery gear included.
• Plus more........

The body has its fair share of dents/scratches and the clear coat is lifting off the bonnet/roof, but there is no rust that I can see. It will never win any beauty contest but it is a solid vehicle.

Mechanically it is spot on. it doesn't use any oil or water, the auto shifts nice and all the suspension is tight.

The interior is tidy, with a few stains on the seat and the standard sagging roof lining, but everything work as it should.

So, if you are after a excellent offroad vehicle that is all setup and ready to go........why pay over the top prices for a Land cruiser, Safari, Terrano, Surf, Hilux, Pajero, Vitara, etc......when you can have a vehicle that is twice as capable for half the price. I have owned many of the 4wd's mentioned above and when it comes to bang for your buck, you cannot go past a Cherokee.
