Windle F1 Sidecar powered by Yamaha R1

Windle F2 chassis with a 2003 Yamaha R1 fuel injected motor. Making it an F1 bike

(It's the white outfit in the photo, the yellow is also available for sale at $6,500 ONO, it has a great history in NZ incl multiple NZ champ, street race victories and even raced at Bathurst at least once and placed 3rd in early 90's Built by the late Mo Haley)

This Windle has raced at the Isle of Man TT (Geoff or Ian Bell, they can't remember who raced it, they had 2) as a 600cc and was fitted with an FZR1000 in the UK by Windle before being imported to NZ

Comes with 8 wheels, (3 rears, 3 side, 2 fronts incl brake discs) 1 set fitted with near new AVON slicks, 1 set fitted with used rear and side slicks and a brand new unusued front. 3 wet tyres included but unfitted, and 2 spare/bare rims.

Spare sidepod, Isle of Man TT tank (actually used and raced at the Isle of Man TT) and few other bits and pieces, coils, some wiring.. few bits and pieces but nothing worth mentioning.

Ready to race, has current log book and technical inspection, has rain light fitted etc up to current rules/regs. Needs to be painted though.

Motor has some sort of issue where it feels like it is starving for fuel at WOT after a few laps.. Initial few laps are strong, but as the race or session progresses it starts to hesitate at WOT. If you roll off the throttle and then back on it goes OK again for a while.

Have tried to figure it out somewhat, as far as new ign coils, different injectors and throttle bodies, new fuel pump and spark plugs go.. had a little fiddle with the wiring loom but lost interest after this and living in Dunedin there is no where to use/race it down here.

If buy now price used will include (if wanted) DeBeers Gun Metal Grey (metallic) paint (basecoat clearcoat) and DeBeers Lamborghini orange and required thinners etc for a full paint job. I was planning on main color of gun metal grey with orange pinstriping etc.. If not wanted I'll use it for something else, worth approx. $400 in paint supplies.
