In our photos we have included a picture of our own meeting room table made from Ebony and some other interesting artifacts, which of course are not included in the auction.

A very rare delight, a large slab of what I think is the Queen of hardwoods, Ebony, also known as Tubi or Solomon Blackwood

Ebony wood is an exotic wood probably most known for its use as fingerboards and keys for various musical instruments. In second place ebony wood, in its various species is the wood of choice for many decorative turners, both the commercial pool cue turner and the DIYer in the shed.

Its great for pens, bottle stoppers, knife handles and jewellery boxes. Well documented in history with surviving pieces used at the time of the Pharaoh's some 3000BC.
