Dainippon Screen SG-8060P Mark II - digital drum scanner for sale.

This unit was bought new, and was used in a Takapuna based prepress house since it was purchased. The date of manufacture is 2002, however we don't believe it's been used since around 2004.

It's worth reading the above PDF - I'm no expert on this unit, and there is a range of specs which I won't cover in this description.

We have powered up the scanner, and we had no problem moving the head so it can be transported, however I give no guarantees that you won't have trouble setting this up.

Originally purchased for around $200,000, I've been told this is the only unit in the country. Was dismantled last week by a FUJIFILM technician, so the unit is ready to be transported. All pickup / transport however will be up to the winning bidder.

I am happy to put the purchaser in touch with the FUJIFILM technician who helped dismantle the unit - he might be able to help in setting up / configuring the scanner.

Includes all of the software / manuals / guides pictured in the photos. This auction also includes all of the cleaning / maintenance materials pictured on the shelf (but not the shelf itself). Also includes the drums, and the display unit which contains them.
