******** LOWERED RESERVE ********
Ok for those in the know about Dave Mustaine Axes this is the holygrail of guitars - less than 20 in existance so offers like this dont come along very often .

The Y2KV is still claimed to be the benchmark of all flying Vs out there , kinda a cross between a flying V & gibson flying ve with its rounded fins & headstock !
These axes will do anything you require them to do - they truely are the best of the best !

Premium mahogony , neck through construction , ebony fretboard , SD PUs , Made in USA - they are the shit !

Ed roman in Hollywood has one of these guitars & is asking $7500USD - thats over 15 thou NZ !

If your wanting a special guitar then this is your ticket .

Near mint condition (back of neck has been sanded to show natural finish - not the best of finishes but does not hinder its true value)

Comes with orignal hardcase

can you put some more photos up please? I think for the price you are asking the least you could do is provide more than one photo. floral (319 )  4:58 pm, Fri 27 Mar

Hello, just curious about how you know about the "only 20 in existence?" I googled this and a website called mastermind tribute to Dave details at least 295 of these were produced, even in what months ETC, have lots been destroyed? Thanks, tony256 (363 )  2:04 pm, Sat 28 Mar
Ok so the story goes . . . the patriot was the last model produced before the nasty split between Dave Mustaine & Jackson Guitars , & in a fit of fury apperently an official of the company ordered every 'patriot Y2KV' within the facility to be put through the bandsaw . I deal with several guitar gurus in the US & have been in email contact with a tech from Ed Romans guitar shop in hollwood & queried this myself - this was the story he had told me . 2:11 pm, Sat 28 Mar
