Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier 50w all valve Combo. Celestion 12" Black Shadow speaker (closed back cabnet) 2 channel amp with a solo boost. This is a 2nd master volume that can be footswitched. The original footswitch was stolen along with my Les Paul and a bunch of other pedals grrrrr. So I have had a vox footswitch custimized by Amp builder Steve Bartlet to change channel and have solo boost switchable as well. I bought this amp new1 year ago. Still has the original valves fitted. This amp was built for Rock!!! Has a bite to the clean, not for the chickin pickers. Clean channel has 2 modes "clean" and "pushed" "Pushed" is mesa's version of an overdrive, but has a real growl to it (nice) Channel 2 has 3 modes "raw" "vintage" "modern" Raw being more like a marshall and modern ideal for metal or more saturated sounds. I was planing on using this with a 4x12 cab but found the closed back nature of the combo had enough resonace to make it pretty full and phat sounding.
