Well you probably arent looking at this if you dont know what it is, but the Nord Modular is a very impressive sounding combination hardware and software synthesizer, that allows you to use modular synth components on your computer and build modular synth patches, and upload them to the hardware for performances, with 18 knobs which can be assigned to any function in the synth. You do not have to have the computer connected to use the sounds that are uploaded to the hardware unit.

This particular one has been provided to me from out of back room storage, as it was awaiting the finding of its box, software and manual which has not happened, so be aware no manual or box with this. No problem though as manual and software is available for free download from the Clavia/Nord website. This unit is about 10 years old, but their is a Mac OSX version available which i have tested on our intel iMac. You will have to inspect the Nord website for youself if you are a PC user.

Originally $2995, this is still a new unit and is sold with 12 months warranty. There is some slight scuffing on one side from being on display with a clumsy shop assistant (not me!) but its otherwise a clean machine. Please ask any questions.
