Description
Old childrens toy building set, produced in 1950's has never been used.
Box is damaged but all the peices appear to be there, mortar is still in powder form, has metal windows and door.
Here is some info from the internet about the Brickplayer toy.
Small ceramic bricks with mortar powder to be used to hold them together. Full and half size bricks plus gable bricks and special shapes to allow the building of bay windows. Card roofing and detailing and wooden roof beams. Earlier sets had metal windows and doors. Contemporary Brickplayer was produced in the 1950's to reproduce more modern styles and the sets included foiled card to simulate cladding and roof coverings and plastic blister roof lights.
The sets tend to stress that the suggested buildings are 'architect designed' and blue prints are supplied.
