Honda RC30 1988

1988 Honda RC30. I am the original owner of this motorcycle, Was bought new from Dave Ogden Honda in Manukau city. Was ridden on the street for a short while until being used as a track bike. Competed in the WSB rounds in at Manfield 1988 & 1989, scoring points in the 1988 round. Suffered an engine failure prior to the 1990 round and has sat in my garage ever since. Had planned on returning to the track to ride it in pre 1989 Post Classic racing but dont see myself doing that so bike is now up for sale.

an Ohlins rear shock rear ride height adjuster PVM magnesium wheels, only ridden on a couple of times..These wheels were German TUV approved for highway use unlike most other wheels of this type 2x belly pans... one original (repaired), one lightweight 2 seat fairings, one original (repaired), one lightweght 1 aftermarket top fairing tank in very good condition, has not been enlarged 1x original rear wheel 2x new EBC rotors and discs. Have original master cylinder and cailpers needing rebuilding. Late model Honda calipers with a couple of different master cylinders. Lightweight front guard 2x cut down std rear plastic guards std tail light unit and headlight holder and 1 headlight unit, same as NC30 Original fairing screen New fairing stay. Still have original speedo and temp gauge and wiring loom although it may be missing a couple of connectors HRC kit temp gauge HRC wiring loom

Engine:

HRC kit radiators, electronic controller, oil cooler, carburettor kit, cams, deep sump. Heads ported by Hallam Brothers Wiseco +1.00mm o/s pistons Exhaust is copied from a Moriwaki unit by Cycleworks, ceramic coated inside and out. Engine was rebuilt and started about six years ago and was ridden up the road and back. It felt to be pretty crisp and strong, way stronger than when it was raced as it was in pretty std condition back then. Has not been restarted since.
