Looks to be perhaps a hand coloured photo or photo print of a 1929 picture of the US Navy USS Wyoming. It says on the back Naples, Italy 1929. To me, it looks like a hand coloured photo print, this is quite obvious when you look at the flag closely. The other colours of the sky and sea almost look like washes. Anyway, an picture of the Wyoming Battleship 9presume she is actually a Battleship) It was a coal fired steam ship. The frame measures approx 355mm x 290mm. The actual photo or photo print, looks to be approx 320mm x 230mm. It is glassed. Great if you collect old pictures of old war ships or had some connection with this capital war ship.
