A neat, probably close to antique ? original artwork signed Mrs D'Oyly Snow - of St Audeon's Arch Dublin - Original Painting as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork & I think the art work is quite well done. It does look good. Looks to be done on canvas over board or such. And if it is not canvas then it is a textured material of some sort. I think it is an oil, but it is under glass, so is just a guess. To me, it looks like it has been varnished or had a coating applied as it is a bit glossy (so hard to photo without reflection) but could be wrong, it could be something else, so is sold as is, whichever one it is. There are a few odd little marks or spots, etc, but it is basically fine I think. It is glassed. The frame is the retro type, small light wood, has marks, scrapes, chips, wear & tear etc, but seems solid enough to just hang there. Am guessing this is 1920s to 1940s ?? There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use or interest to you. The frame measures approx 505mm odd x 410mm odd. Inside the frame is approx 482mm odd x 385mm odd and what you can actually see of the artwork is approx 345mm odd x 255mm odd. A good collectable piece for the right person or place.
