OSRIC is a retro-clone of the first edition of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). It seeks to replicate the rules and feel of that early version of the game. While D&D has evolved and expanded over the years, Osric offers a nostalgic return to the roots of the hobby, appealing to fans who prefer a simpler and more straightforward gameplay experience reminiscent of the original D&D.
