This product has a very high quality control, These seconds have marks on the top face which would be deemed not suitable for clear coat finish. Some sheets may also have very slight edge damage. They are not ruined or smashed up. Can also have a small dark ink mark on the surface which is caused when they are stamped "seconds" on the back of the sheet then stacked on top of each other before the ink drys, in most cases the ink can be sanded off. Although we sell these as "paint quality" many people apply a stain and or clear coat after sanding or filling the small defects.

Plastic tongue is not supplied with seconds, we have these available as an optional extra (2.4mtr). Usually if joining on a stud the tongue is not so necessary for 12mm board.
