Excellent in exterior UV / weather conditions, for instant watertight sealing. Ideal for construction, maintenance & repair projects.

Preparations:

*Surfaces must be sound, clean, dust free and dry. *Use bituminous Flashband Primer to improve adhesion on porous rough, dusty surfaces in cold or damp weather. *Porous surfaces-dampen lightly with water before applying. *Non-porous surfaces-should be dry or only very slightly damp. *Apply Flashband Primer with a water dampened brush. Allow to dry, but protect from rain or frost. *Fill cracks wider than 3mm, deep hollows or depressions.

Application:

*Cut Flashband to required length *Remove the backing. Press Flashband into place using fingertip pressure. Avoid excessive pressure. *When laying adjacent rolls the Flashband must overlap by at least 25mm. *Use a rounded piece of wood to smooth the Flashband and ensure good contact is made.

• RECOMMEND: Use heat gun for best adhesive and stickiness result. Use heat gun on low temperature on Flashband. Press/ put pressure on Flashband into place then use rounded piece of wood to smooth the Flashband. Afterwards use heat gun on low temperature to stick it smoothly.
