Native of Queensland has deep fronds or leaflets up to 2 meters long. Nothing sharp on this plant - gardener friendly. Particularly attractive when there is a breeze and fronds are moving around. A beautiful plant to mix in with your palms or add a tropical touch. Loves Auckland temperate climate. This plant is in a 60 Litre grab handle bag. Base of caudex is 280 mm diameter, very chunky. Frond length is about 1.7 metres. Several older fronds and seven more recently have grown from caudex. Reach of growth from one side to the other is about 1.8 m. Expect ongoing new flushes of growth and extra fronds from the centre of caudex as the plant grows. Plant is approximately 23 years old. Grown totally outdoors in Helensville.
