Description
Spa Pool $1 reserve - currently not running.
We had a technician visit as our spa pool kept tripping the fuse when it was turned on. The pump and jets runs fine - it's just that it can't heat the water. It needs a new element at $650 + $200 for the labour. We decided not to go ahead (even though we had recently purchased a new cover - see our other listing).
Water will be emptied before pick-up. That is to show there are no leaks.
Buyer must pick-up from Laingholm, Auckland. The land is flat and the spa pool will need to be carried approximately 30metres by hand. We recommend 4 people to carry.

does the spa run off 10 amp? or 15. can it be taken out by a 4-wheel trolley d*******2 (343 • 3:10 pm, Sun, 12 May )It runs from 15amp. I would say that about roughly 29 metres would be fine with a strong trolley and it would need to be carried over a 1 metre path with pavers and plants. blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )could you please add a photo what you mean carried over a 1 metre path with pavers and plants d*******2 (343 • 4:44 pm, Sun, 12 May )Just added a photo. Thanks. blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )$1 buy now? i was meaning as i am only after a buy now $1 because if i bid the auction runs out in 6 or 7 days and i can't pick up that late then. only can pick up in the next day or 2 that is why i am asking for buy now, the spa is 20 year old now but i can use as parts, if you keen, please place buy now up if not good luck thanks d*******2 (343 • 4:49 pm, Sun, 12 May )I'll let the auction run thanks. blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )could you please add a photo what you mean carried over plants ? can't the plants be moved? thanks d*******2 (343 • 5:49 pm, Sun, 12 May )Photo added. Not best quality as getting dark now. blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )thanks for photo and i only after buy now as i only can pick up in the next day or 2 only so good luck selling your spa thanks d*******2 (343 • 6:12 pm, Sun, 12 May )Thanks. Selling will be easy.....taking it home will be the tricky bit 😀 blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )What make and model is this ? How old is it and are thete any leaks, at all ? Would you take $500, with the cover included? n**********2 (111 • 1:53 pm, Mon, 13 May )It's about 18 years old and doesn't have any leaks. I'm not 100% sure of the make and model but pretty sure it's a Leisurerite and likely to be an Aztec Capri. Thanks for the offer but $500 is too low for the spa and cover. blightyfc (175 • Monday, 13 May 2024 )What make of heater is it ? n**********2 (111 • 1:53 pm, Mon, 13 May )I've added a photo of the heater and the inside when the panel is taken off. The technician opened the heater and it was the element at the bottom inside that needs replacing. blightyfc (175 • Monday, 13 May 2024 )So what do you think borh are worth as is ? n**********2 (111 • 10:39 pm, Mon, 13 May )They could potentially sell for a combined value over $1000 when sold separately through the auction. blightyfc (175 • Monday, 13 May 2024 )When would u like it to be picked up I'm asking as I can only pick up Saturday coming a week from now if I was to bid an win c******n (492 • 7:58 pm, Sat, 18 May )Happy for it to be picked up any day. This Saturday coming would be fine. blightyfc (175 • Saturday, 18 May 2024 )In addition to last question answered. It will need to be before 1pm next Saturday. Seller comment Saturday, 18 May 2024 Hi does the control an everything work but heater dont c******n (492 • 5:26 pm, Sun, 19 May )Yep. It runs for about 10 to 15 seconds and then the heater kicks in. This is when the electricity is tripped. blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 19 May 2024 )Plug - standard house plug? Image please r*******a (62 • 6:09 pm, Sun, 19 May )It's a 15amp plug which means the main pin is slightly larger than a standard 10amp plug. It won't fit into a standard 10amp socket. blightyfc (175 • Sunday, 19 May 2024 )
