Very Rare Vintage Royal Doulton Twin Handle Biscuit Barrel. Royal Doulton Dickens Ware Series of Mr Pickwick. Doulton marking number of D2979 dates this at 1908 for manufacture. Biscuit Barrel measures 180mm long x 140mm wide x 155mm high. Biscuit Barrel condition is excellent with no chips or cracks, but does have very slight age related crazing. Sadly there is no lid, but this give the potential buy the chance to track this down and complete the set. A hard to find item and would make a fine addition to anyone's Royal Doulton collection.
