Lucy is a rising 6 yr old, approx 15.2 mare. She is a Thoroughbred by Mongolian Khan, however she never made it to the track or a trainer for no reason of her own. Luc has a super nature, she's inquisitive, cheeky and intelligent. I would love to continue to produce her, however I am in my last year of university so time and money is a bit stretched.

I believe she'll turn her foot to anything - she is athletic, has correct confirmation and straight movement. Jumping she is honest, intelligent, rideable and forms a nice shape over a fence. I could see her going up the grades in eventing or show jumping. I've taken her to a 'green' horse show, the beach, arena and pony club grounds. She has been out by herself and in company and she hasn't been phased about either and has been very sensible each time. She has been out and jumped cross country once also and popped over a few logs and roll tops bravely. I plan to hopefully get her to some training jumping days soon.

She paddocks on her own or in company well. Currently she can only just see the other horses from one end of the paddock. I've had her for nearly a year but have been riding her for roughly two. In that time she's slowly learnt the basics and had a few outings, where she is now at the point where she needs to go and do something! She's a low maintenance type of horse - a good doer and only has front shoes on, I would say she'd be fine without them. She is also only in light work, and is good to ride after a week off.

Lucy would be suitable for a confident teen coming off ponies, or someone looking for a project or their next horse to produce through the grades. She is still green, so no beginners.
