Bow: 22mm Bow Apex - 28cm from the base (mid bow)
Weight: Light (540 grams target weight)
Great stick for young players or those new to the sport. The lower carbon fibre content means more flex in the stick making easier to trap the ball. Though the flex means less power the mid bow makes it easier to hit the ball flat, including on the reverse (tomahawk) thanks to the extra wide inside edge.

Hi, I’m looking to get a bigger stick for my 13yo - I don’t know how sizing works. He would be approx. 165cm tall but he’s growing. His stick from last year is miles too small now and it’s hurting his back to lean over and use it. What size would you recommend? n**********r (259 • 10:34 am, Fri, 24 May )Hi, thanks for your message. The ninja 36.5" would be a good choice. I don't know what your 13yo has been using but a stick should come up to near the hip. 36.5" is the starting point for senior sticks. I'm 180cm and use that length but to short is better than too long so the stick isn't difficult to manoeuvre. He may also benefit from bending his knees more if the back is getting sore - this will also improve his centre of balance. Cheers, Brent. leftback (903 • Friday, 24 May 2024 )Thanks Brent, I will look at the sizing when he gets home tonight and see what I think we should go with. When the stick is 36.5” would that be the length from above hip to ground? I guess I’m just struggling to know how the height of stick correlates to height of player. Many thanks. n**********r (259 • 10:43 am, Fri, 24 May )Yes, 36.5" (about 92cm) is the length of the stick and distance from the ground to hip area when placed next to someone standing normally. A bit under is fine but not over, especially at that age :-) leftback (903 • Friday, 24 May 2024 )
