A beautiful, large, silk crepe stole or scarf, dating from the Art Deco era.

Measuring just under 2 metres long by approx 85 cm wide, the scarf has been adorned with great elan, displaying applique flowers at each end, and right along one edge.

It is in very good condition, with no flaws that I can find to the fabric; the only thing to note being where the silk applique has come away from the stitched edge. This could be remedied by some fine needlework if the new owner chose.

I am only posting detail shots at the moment, and will aim to add one showing the whole piece.

I bought this at an antiques market in the UK several years ago and have treasured it.
