Antique Silver Plated Brooch.

Totally Hand Finished by myself from start to finish prior to and after Silver plating and antiquing and including a bit of hand done Gold Art Deco motif work on the backing - display card.

Designed and made by myself from the Classic Art Deco flying bird / Car Mascot that featured on the hood of the 1930's HISPANO SUIZA.

There is one on display at the Len Southward Museum and some truly stunning examples in Major Car Museums all around the world.

HISPANO SUIZA (Literally Spanish-Swiss) was a Spanish Automotive and Engineering firm, best known for its luxury cars and Aviation engines pre World War II.

Swiss Design, Spanish Capital and French Production facilities to create what many consider the world's best Automobiles of the mid 1930's.

The brooch has a Wingspan of around 35mm and 2 pins and Ballou / Catches so it can be securely worn on almost any fabric.
