The large and impressive 50 Mark note, engraved in green and pink and dated 1933, features the portrait of David Hansemann, Prussia's most prominent 19th Century politician.
Although a liberal, Hansemann was depicted on Nazi currency due to his Prussian birth and popularity.
The reverse of this note features a superb Mercury in Winged Helmet.
